PM Mission Foundation, Inc. (PMMF) a faith ministry, gives Filipino lay ministers $90 per month as a stipend and $30 a month is set aside for medicines to treat the patients in their villages and to purchase needed supplies. $10 a month is set aside and given them as a bonus at Christmas time (end of the year), if they have served faithfully.

These lay ministers work in mountain villages where the name of Jesus has never been heard. Alex and his wife Ging Ging are serving as missionaries, have been working in a village since December of 2002. The death rate in his village has gone down drastically which has caught the attention of the provincial government. They tried to hire him to be their representative/supervisor in health work for the Mangyans (mountain people). They are very pleased with Alex’s work. Even offering Alex two and a half times his stipend, Alex chose to stay with PMMF. Many have given their lives to Christ and have been baptized as a result of their work, one of which has become a missionary on the “backside” of Mt. Halcon.
